It possesses a primarily birch/khaki-colored suede base with multiple ‘firepit hints notably seen on the midsole, laces and inner lining. Birch/khaki is also spotted in the form of the swoosh, the 3 logo located in between the side panels and the toe area. Lastly, this Nike Air Jordan is complimented with a black outsole. TheAir Jordan Shoes XII (12)is one of the more liked Fusions in the hybrid arsenal. News of its return in Obsidian/White form started a firestorm of debate in the comments section with some readers defending the Air Jordan 12 while others defamed it. Much talk has swirled around the web ever since the news broke about the Air Jordan Shoes VI(6).  From initial photos it appeared that the shoes were hardly different from the Black/Varsity Red retros that released in January, but we wanted to investigate whether or not this was the case.  Beyond just the shade of red or infrared, we put together a detailed comparison between not only the 2010 and 2000 retros, but also the originals from 1991.

When the “LA Lakers inspired colorway came out in May, fans had mixed feelings on this release, especially on the use of 3M.  For Jordan enthusiasts wondering “what could have been the Air Jordan Shoes VI(6) has surfaced in an unreleased sample variation on eBay (size 9).  This alternative version features an all black suede upper as opposed to a combination of suede and 3M.  Subtle differences come in the use of white on the outsole and lace locks over black.
